Ensemble Galilei with NPR's Neal Conan
Date: Friday, October 5, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.

"There's an ease about the way they play that seems to break down the barriers that normally exist between the audience and the performer." Performance Today
First Person: Stories from the Edge of the World is a remarkable collaboration between National Geographic, National Public Radio's Neal Conan and Ensemble Galilei. Spectacular photographs projected on a large on-stage screen, Neal Conan's compelling narration of original texts by the world’s great explorers, and evocative music created specifically for this project work seamlessly to take the audience along on some of the world's most extraordinary expeditions. Actress Lily Knight will also appear as a narrator.
